Blade Trap does not proc Sanguine Gambol

Sanguine Gambol has the mod - You have Crimson Dance if you have dealt a Critical Strike Recently.
This never seems to proc while using Blade Trap. I'm watching my character sheet - Offense tab - and my bleed damage is never reduced (which should be the case if I have Crimson Dance). Last bumped on Aug 5, 2021, 6:32:30 PM

Actually - It doesn't say "You" or "You Hit" or "Your Hit", the precise wording is:
"You have Crimson Dance if You have dealt a Critical Strike Recently" Granted - Blade Trap is a 'proxy' attack, it is still 'my' attack; and honestly, I think the key wording is "you have dealt". I have dealt a critical strike. It's using my critical strike chance with my critical strike multiplier. Does the Trap have autonomy? (No) Is it a minion? (No) So if it's not me - who is dealing the critical strike? Furthermore, Elemental Equilibrium has even more specific wording of "You Hit", and yet it has no problems triggering on every proxy attack. If this is working as designed, the bug is they should clarify the wording of these effects - Proxy Attacks, All Attacks, Direct Attacks .. something that is more descriptive than just 'You' / 'Your'.
