Leap Slam Gets Stuck in Walls/Doorways



I believe this has been around for a while but the frequency with which Leap Slam gets your character stuck in doorways seems notably higher than in the past.

Leap Slamming will get you back out of the wall, I have not tried using other travel skills.

Yes, please, it's pretty recurrent too. For me it happens in every freaking map or so.

You cannot attack when stuck, but mobs still can hit you. So annoying.

The bug is present since at least legion league. Why is there no fix yet?

Because, depending on how zones are created for Path of Exile, there is a very real chance that each part of each zone that’s susceptible to this needs to be manually changed to fix it - and if that’s the case, there’s not going to be any thorough way of finding all the places needing to be updated.

I’m not a level designer, but I’ve worked with them on an ARPG in the past, as recently as earlier this year. They do not like this issue. And there’s a limit to how helpful any tools designed to find problematic places can be. There’s a reason it plagues several games in the genre.

Which games are plagued by it? Also, how come it was OK before, and now it isn't? And why there is no official comment at least if it really bugs them? And still not on the known bugs list?
Super annoying with more mechanics that are timer based. Incursion, Scourge speed mapping.. Heist when I'm trying to get to valuable items and then 'boom' stuck in sh*tilly executed collision mesh. I used to use Smoke Mine for this very reason. But we all know that got nuked from orbit. GGG please get eyes on this. It makes for an unfun experience.. Unless that's your goal. We all know how much you hate fun in the game :) Please just fix this!
