Help with Rallying Cry

Rallying cry:

"Buff grants Added Attack Damage equal to 3% of the Damage of your Main
Hand Weapon per 5 Power, up to a maximum of 20%"

Does this added damage get applied to Shield skills like Shield Crush/Throw?

In-game tooltip doesn't show any damage change for any exerted attack so its impossible to tell if I'm doing more damage or not.
