Is PoE a GPU heavy, or a CPU heavy game?

Someone told me that a laptop not having a MUX switch is going to be a problem for me if I want to play PoE. They asked me to get info if PoE is a GPU or a CPU heavy game.
I am buying a laptop (ASUS M16) and would like to know.

both and if you have a nVIDIA GPU then the CPU is important also because the nVidia drivers uses the CPU for some of it functions in the GPU driver.
While yes, it eats alive both CPU and GPU, i'd say it mostly sways toward CPU.
The difference is huge.
When GPU bottlenecks, the game will simply render slower, which causes FPS fluctuations, it's not the end of the world.

When CPU bottlenecks, your game will randomly lock up and stutter, which can be far more annoying than the latter.
No rest for the wicked.
Thanks. Decided to go for a Legion 7 (2021) with RTX 3080 instead.
