Culling Strike & LowLife Build
If you play a LowLife Build and are getting the Culling strike Modifier on the Remnants, you get executed with each hit you take. This is not really that apparant in the description of the Modifier, and disables a whole archetype despite not being a "yellow" Modifier.
I don't know if it's supposed to work that way, or if it should take the energy part into account. or maybe its only supposed to cull if the life portion is actually affected by the hit. or it could only take the unreserved part as max life. Culling strike is working EXACTLY as it should.

Culling Strike is a property that causes hits to kill enemies left with 10% of maximum life or less.
So...if you have 10% or less life unreserved, you would die in one hit. Culling strike appears to only operate on life and completely ignores energy shield. You're right, this appears to be somewhat of an oversight on the dev's part...kinda super OP. By definition of Energy Shield, no damage (other than chaos) should bypass it which SHOULD include culling strike imo since that is effectively damage which is bypassing energy shield. It's not an oversight. It is working exactly as intended. The mods on the remnants are designed to counter certain aspects of builds in order to force players to read them and respect them. You don't open a phys immune remnant on a phys build, and you don't open a cull remnant on a low-life build.

The damage immunity mods are orange because there's no counterplay.
However, that doesn't mean you get to mindlessly bulldoze your way through all Remnants without reading them. The game developers believe that reading is important.
