Layout option on trade site arent working properly.
Pre-conditions:
Firefox 78.12.0esr, 1080p screen. No addons are enabled in said browser. Steps to reproduce: 1. Open pathofexile.com/trade, generate a search for an item (for example https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Hardcore%20Expedition/6Ww9SG). 2. Under "Show filters" button select the "Compact Two-Columned" layout option. Actual result: The layout does not change, its similar to the "Compact" layout option with slight change of how items are ordered in the stack. Expected result: The layout changes to "2 columns with search results". Notes: Cant really pinpoint the date when it stopped working, but i remember it was fine before in last league (i dont use trade site very often). Scaling the resolution of the page via Ctrl+MouseWheel produces no effect on the issue. Last edited by Neveroyatnii#3154 on Jul 28, 2021, 3:38:53 AM Last bumped on Jul 28, 2021, 7:16:38 AM

Looks like the ESR is quite out of date unfortunately. Can you update to a more recent version?

I guess i'll just use Edge for trades then. Thank you for your time!

" FF78.12 is still the currently supported ESR release; they only get new feature (UI and web tech updates) when the major version is bumped about once a year. In between those they only get security fixes. The next major ESR update, to the v91 codebase is scheduled for next month, although 78.* will still be updated through 78.15 on October 5th. ESR's are primarily created for enterprise customers whose testing heavy development or workstation upgrade policies don't play nicely with the continuous trickle of new features in rolling releases. The 78.* ESR has gotten attention outside that group recently because it lets people avoid the new UI changes that came out a month ago. It's only a stopgap fix for anyone in that situation though because the 78.* ESR will be EOL too soon; and the 91.* ESR will only support the new UI. For anyone who hates the updated UI, my advice is to install Firefox UI Fix in your profile folder to get the browsers interface styled more like the old one because you're not going to be able to avoid it while staying secure for much longer. Did you ever see history portrayed as an old man with a wise brow and pulseless heart, weighing all things in the balance of reason?
Is not rather the genius of history like an eternal, imploring maiden, full of fire, with a burning heart and flaming soul, humanly warm and humanly beautiful? |
