Game Crash after Alt Tab

This is 100% reproducible, when using Fullscreen and Vulkan.

If I leave the game tabbed out for a while, and try to maximize the game again, the game will crash. (Just happened to me while waiting in queue for Expedition)

If I use borderless then it does not crash. I'd prefer to use Fullscreen because it works much better for G-sync.

Been having the same issue for a few leagues now, possibly since the Vulkan renderer was first introduced.


This is the error message accompanying the crash. My drivers also detect a timeout most of the time whenever this happens.

Specs:
i5 4690K 4.4GHz (yeah, I know, it's ancient)
16GB DDR3-1600
5700XT (8GB)
2560x1440 170Hz display with FreeSync Premium enabled
The game runs from a SATA III SSD.

A workaround is to press Alt+Enter before tabbing out to enable windowed mode, and to press Alt+Enter again when tabbing back in to re-enable fullscreen mode.

I have the same, or a similar problem.
No prompt, just crash to desktop. But it takes like 5-10 seconds from alt-tabbing back before it actually crashes.
Takes a few minutes of PoE being minimized.

RTX 2070 Super (471.41, just updated, most of the crashes was on an earlier version, but I did have one on this version)
