20-40% less damage actually means 50-85% less damage?

How much nerf did you guys really get from your damage?

i just check my nonmeta build from previous league... just 50% dmg nerf, faar less survi aaaaand pob still havent pots nerf included. the only things that those badimplemented (nerfs are good, but not a way ggg made it, supports nerf is just lazy 5min number change except real nerf) nerfs will done is killing builds diversity
Sounds like your builds got hit hard.

Yeah, the 20-40% is actually per gem, CW apparently doesn't play his own game enough to understand its scaling.

Or he understands it more than you. Try shake things around. Been messing with PoB a bit, and you end up with nerf in that range as long as you, instead of just complaining, rebuild your character to alleviate the nerfs.

Dude...Indigon+Archmage scaling, heard of it?
I lost roughly 45% at minimum for my skelly warrior build. It used to be 95m (on an absolute min-maxed, hundreds-of-exalts build), but has dropped to 55m after the nerfs.

It's not bad on paper, but the increased mana cost and reserve multipliers has also made it where I can no longer summon skeletons anymore because they're too expensive plus my mana is too heavily reserved. Reduced cost mods on gear won't fix it, meaning I'd have to drop an aura which will further drop the DPS.

By dropping Bonechill support on skitterbots, DPS on a min-maxed build with hundreds of exalt investment drops to 40m. Almost 60% nerf. I don't make a lot of currency, the best I can hope to reach is 4m.

I'm not looking forward to reaching red maps and never being able to do Incursions again since I can't put out nearly enough damage or clear fast enough before the timer runs out. Just one issue out of several I'll be facing in 3.15.
PoE players: Our game has a wide diversity of builds.

Also PoE players: The [league mechanic] doesn't need to be nerfed, you just need to play a [current meta] build!

MFers found strength in their Afflictions. They became reliant on them. I am not so foolish.

I lost about 50-51% of my dps
My fireburst with just above 2 mill dps got nerfed 71%, not just they nerf gems, etc, but all usable cluster jewels aswell... It was just barely playable before nerf, End game content was not easym some impossible... Now I should be happy if I even manage red maps I suppose...
Only ele damage with attacks nerf is 20% so yes.
My Stone Golem Elementalist went from 17-19m in single target down to 7-7.5 in a best case scenario with a Bottled Faith up. There was a previous patch where the DPS was significantly higher. Then there was that minion nerf in 3.12 or 3.13 (I forgot which one, it had the Carrion nerfs, Rotten Claw nerfs, and many more) which brought her down to the current 18, 19 mark. This patch will be even worse because of the defensive nerfs on top of the offensive ones. The defensive side of the build is what I liked.
