Side by side gem comparison
|
Am I the only person getting annoyed with googling every gem just to see the overall difference between the old and the new?
For future gem changes, it would be nice to have previous version gem and new gem side by side for comparison. Most of us don't know every line on a gem and the updates only shows changed lines from the gem not the entire gem. A nice gem picture with hover of gems would be nice. Just a thought... uh....they have all that information in teh patch notes.
"new number (from old number)" is on every change You want them to show you ALL 20 levels on every single gem? Thats a ridiculous request. The only thing thats important is the lowest and the highest values. You can extrapolate all the rest of the numbers from that because every gem follows the same basic shape: slower growth in the beginning, ramping up until the end. Who the hell cares what the number is at Level 8 or Level 14... Last edited by jsuslak313#7615 on Jul 21, 2021, 11:51:51 AM

No... we get new numbers and old numbers on every change but what I am asking if the every line of the gem not just the changed.

so are you referring to the other things on the gem skill itself? such as shock chance / mana cost / etc. Or are you talking about the incremental changes when it comes to leveling the gem.
The patch notes make it as simple as possible to see the specific patched changes, not the total information of each gem / unique / stat over and over again. This would result in a 30-page manifesto that not a single person would ever read or look at. It's dizzying enough just seeing the one-line changes they DO include. Showing pictures of the gem that you can hover over HIDES the details rather than enhances it. When reading patch notes or changes, no other information other than what's being changed matters. I'm not sure what information you are lacking that you are needing to look up elsewhere...you either know what a skill does and care about the numerical changes, or you have no idea what a skill does and then the numbers become meaningless as well.
