It’s hideout o'clock with Klok! Finally getting out of my hole in Wraeclast, and whipping up a post to share a collection of my hideout creations with the world beyond (this one’s for you Bunty).

Timekeeper's Terrace [Infinite Abyss Hideout tileset - MTX] NEW!

Two hands to guide, by six and twelve across the dial. Wind your way to new worlds as the gears turn, tirelessly in movement 'round the terrace of time.

Third attempt at making a giant hideout clock (or should it be a clock hideout?), along with a test of these blank hideout bases. Initially intended to pair with the Timekeeper's map device to really push that clock theme, but went with the small default variant in the end.

Whare Koiwi, the House of Bones[Haunted Hideout tileset - No MTX]


Finalist in GGG's September 2023 Hideout Competition ♥
Dedicated to the Karui goddess Hinekora, Mother of Death.

A quiet place of contemplation for Her tribe to ponder on the mysteries of the Eye of Destiny, nestled in between this world and the next. Inspired by Hinekora's multilayered bone headdress and her colours (purple and green), using a minimalist "palette" of Karui doodads and a heaping helping of bones.

The Dark Above [Primeval Hideout tileset - MTX]

Up, up into the skies and higher still. Shadows rise into silver clouds, black claws grasping brume and stone alike. They reach ever higher, through echoing halls, into the dark above.

Another purple tile just because. Perhaps with a dash of turquoise hiding in there?

*Includes a lone MTX doodad that is totally not necessary, but looks nice on map device altar. Swappable with a Memory Stabilizer or other funky Synthesis one.

Clocktower Point [Ritualist's Hideout tileset - No MTX]

And so they came to the lake's edge, where sat the ruins of two once-proud towers. Relics of a bygone era, the machinery within stank of thaumaturgy. Yet try as they may, they could not discern its arcane purpose. Perhaps some day one will come to unlock the secrets therein?

It was about time I included a clock in one of my hideouts.

Seaside Temple Ruins [Coastal Hideout tileset – No MTX]


Where water meets earth and sky, the Winged Lady deigns to tread. A temple to her lost glory, now overrun by greedy vegetation. A haven abandoned and rediscovered, hiding dark sacrifices at its apex.

Aetheric Crossroads [Celestial Hideout tileset]


Since "Space gardens" was already taken, let’s call this one Aetheric Crossroads instead. Odd spot in creation timeline - moved to practice section as it was essentially an ongoing test between leagues when revisiting my main tilesets.

Because nature always finds a way, even in an extradimensional nexus of fractured realities. Where else could one find glimpses of four different elemental planes side by side, seamlessly flowing into each other amongst the stars?
