Does Crimson Dance work with minions?

Lets say you and your minions both can bleed. How would Crimson Dance work?
All I know is that the minion's bleed wouldn't stack to 8, but what about your own bleeds in addition to theirs? Like can you have 1 minion bleed and 7 of your own bleeds stacked for 8 in total? Last bumped on Jul 18, 2021, 9:20:21 PM

it litteraly says YOU can stack bleed up to 8 times and YOUR bleeding does not deal extra damage while enemys are moveing, comeon bruh

Yeah but did you read my post? I was asking how it works if both you and your minions can bleed.
So lets say a minion puts a big bleed up on something, what would happen with your weaker Crimson Dance bleeds? Do they replace the minion's bleed, do they pile on top of it until you reach 8 in total? So 1 minion, 7 personal? It's likely that it would work however it works in party play. Like if two players have bleed, and one has Crimson Dance. Just trying to clarify how that would work |

Minions never benefit from any mod that says "you" unless expressly stated otherwise (i.e. Necromantic Aegis).
Crimson Dance bleed and regular bleed are two different debuffs. Regardless of how many sources are applying bleed, the enemy will only take damage from the highest source of regular bleed and the highest 8 sources of Crimson Dance bleed (9 total). Theoretically in some hybrid build you could allocate Crimson Dance on yourself and regular bleed to your minions. Last edited by Aldonés#1294 on Jul 17, 2021, 4:48:48 PM

Huh...I figured you were looking to buff bleed for Reaper and only mentioned the hybrid thing as an afterthought. Glad it worked for you though.

" It's in the wiki for Farrul's Pounce. Wiki also states this can be verified by seeing 9 stacks from reflected bleeds when The Golden Rule is socketed. I haven't checked myself, but I did find that very interesting. |
