Middle East Server Allocation

I would like to begin by saying that Poe is probably the most enjoyable game to me, and I have invested considerable time playing it.

Having said that, the game can quickly become frustrating when your character teleports back 5 seconds in the past and dies due to high latency issues. Many skills become outright unusable due to the ping, like Flicker Strike and Leap Slam. One also has to predict a boss’s telegraphed ability well in advance to survive (Ex. Sirius Die Beam), to the point where you feel like your not playing an Arpg anymore.

I am sure GGG has looked into adding a new server in the Middle East region, but so far we have had a Canadian server before a ME server, which kinda stings.

I hope GGG can seriously consider adding a closer server to players in the Middle East region, as my enjoyment of the game is slowly dwindling away each season, as it is for many others I’m sure.

Agreed, same for me. I can never get a ping lower than 90ms from Dubai. And sometimes the ping is constant 200ms too. We need a node or a close server for Middle east players please :(
