Maven's Orb and ignites deals damage faster

This may be a bug or I may be missing something, either way I figured I would post it here. I used an ilvl 81 dex/int two toned boots, 20 quality with elder and hunter influence as my item base:

I rolled t1 "ignites you inflict deal damage 8-10% faster" and 1 other influenced mods (e.g. "unaffected by shocked ground", "unaffected by desecrated ground", "chance to avoid being stunned" etc). I hit maven orb on this item 7 times under the condition mentioned above, and every time, it removes the "ignites you inflict deal damage 8-10% faster" mod and elevates the other influence mod.

Assuming that the Maven's orb will randomly pick between the 2 influenced mods, and I'm not misinterpreting the orb's effect, the chances of this happening is 0.5^7, which is 0.0078125, which is 0.78% likelihood of this happening.

This doesn't seem to be intended, unless I'm either interpreting the effects of the Maven's Orb wrong or I'm extremely unlucky or the rng seed used for the Maven's Orb effect is never changed for me.

I have tried this on Craft of Exile emulator under the same conditions and it's about a 50/50 chance that the orb keeps and elevates the ignite mod.

Again, please let me know if I'm using the Orb in an unintended way or if this is some other issue.

Unfortunately, 7 is far too small of a sample size to suspect bugs. Think about it this way - 0.78% likelihood is about 1 in 130. That means that 1 out of every 130 players attempting to target 1 mod via Maven's Orb is expected to fail 7 times in a row.

You were almost certainly just one of today's lucky 1 out of 130.

number of previous attempts does not affect your chances. each try you stand there with 50% chance, aka coinflip.
