Where can I find the unique item I am looking for?

Hello. I want to know somewhere to see where I can get unique items, which monster to throw, or in which area to look for a particular item?

Currently, Death's Harp would be interested in which area it is recommended to farm.

Most Unique items are global drops - they can drop anywhere of appropriate monster level (such as endgame Maps).

The easiest way to obtain a Death's Harp would be trading with other players. You can visit https://www.pathofexile.com/tradehttps://www.pathofexile.com/trade and search within the league you're interested in. It looks like you're in Standard, so you'd set it to Standard, and search for Death's Harp:

Then you can look at who you want to buy from, click the "Whisper" button, and Ctrl+V (paste) the message in the in-game chat to message the seller.

The seller might reply with "sec" which means they are busy with something and will sell the item to you shortly.

The seller should invite you to party. Once you're invited to the party, you should join the player's hideout by right-clicking their portrait on the upper left corner of the screen and clicking "Visit Hideout."

Once inside the seller's hideout, they should send a trade request. You trade the price they were charging (such as 1 Orb of Alchemy or 3 Chromatic Orbs or 1 Chaos Orb) and they give you the item.

Alternatively, you can farm things that consistently give lots of Unique Items. The best that comes to mind is Heist Contracts that require Brute Force.

The game is a big casino. There is not much target farm. You can target farm card but not usually target farm card for unique. It is way faster just pay in-game currency to other for what you want

if you really, really want to find it yourself.. pick up all white Death Bows and use chance orbs.. there is also iron commander though :P

Something I've always wondered about is how drops are calculated. I always assumed it went something like this:

1) Each zone or mob type has a loot table
2) Roll to determine if there will be a drop
3) Roll for a base type
4) Roll for rarity of base type
5) Roll mods, sockets, colors, links

I could see the possibility that rarity is determined before base, but that seems unlikely.

Something I just saw at the wiki which I didn't know is that the base drop chance is 16%. This means that the BASE chance to drop something is the same for every zone or map.

If the base chances to drop is constant, wouldn't it make sense to farm a level 32 zone for Death's Harp? That way when you get a drop you have the maximum chance to get a Death Bow. That's assuming you are farming mobs and not farming div, Einhar, etc.
