is there any way to use Spirit Guards?

Spirit Guards seem like they made this but forgot to suport it in any way
there are no special weapons this can be used with and there no way to make an animated gaurdin to hold a ranged weapon so chains of command doeasnt work, how do you use reliably to use in a build? MAKE LEFT CLICK GREAT AGAIN! Last bumped on Oct 28, 2023, 9:52:37 AM

It is for the Animate Weapon skill...and it does exactly what it says it does. It's useful if you're using that skill, not that many people do, and not useful if you're not. Nothing to do with Animate Guardian anyway. Not really sure what you're looking for here.

"Spirit Guards only works with Animate Weapon, allowing that skill (and only that skill) to animate ranged weapons instead of only melee. It has nothing to do with Animate Guardian or Chains of Command, it doesn't interact with them (including Animate Guardian's Weapon) in any way at all, and it's not intended to. Animate Guardian's weapon from the armor is a completely different skill. I have a pretty good sense of humor. I'm not German.

"Dude, they are not the same. Animate Weapon animates weapons (or blades such as from Bladefall) that are on the ground. Animate Guardian's Weapon makes an animated copy of the weapon that your Animated Guardian is holding. Totally. Different. Skills. And on that note, I'm done. Good luck to you. That's classics. Needs clarifiation, asks a question. Nothing wrong up to this point. Dislikes the answer, rejects the fairly accurate opinion, starts bitching. I won't even bother to clarify as you don't deserve, but aggromagnet is right and wiki needs no update - it's all accurate in there. This is a buff © 2016
