Darkness enthroned and unique abyss jewels

Hi, does anyone know if the maximum effect on the unique abyss jewels is increased by 75% if you socket them in darkness enthroned, like 70% increased arcane surge effect instead of 40%?

No they are capped, you reach that cap faster but the way I understand it is text written the way that the unique abyss jewels are is to specifically indicate its capped at a value.

So for example if you darkness enthroned Ulaman's Gaze

"Projectiles have 4% chance to be able to Chain when colliding with terrain per Searching Eye Jewel affecting you, up to a maximum of 20%"

the 4% will be increased in value so you require fewer jewels, however the cap will remain at 20%.
