fractured and split items crafting

Hello,i have a base with a fractured mod on it and the split tag but even with open suffixes/ prefixes i can't craft anything on it from crafting bench. Is this a bug or is it the way things are?

You aren't giving anyone anything to work with. Link the item so people can take a look at it.

probably someone else fractured a crafted mod and sell it to other player as a scam (who sale brick unless you are scammer)

I occasionally sell bricks but I keep the price low enough (< 10c usually) that I don't feel it's a scam.

the fractured mod IS a crafted mod. you can not bench craft on this item any more.
