Extremely long load times, bad FPS drops, bad game performance, bad texture loading under Vulkan.

I have tried every settings, moved PoE to different SSD's, reinstalled, reinstalled drivers, every PoE setting, every Windows setting.

Nothing changed.

On Vulkan my PC becomes slower, as if it has memory leak issues. It's weird, even though in Task Manager it says 2.5GB out of 8 is PoE, it feels like its using 100% of it.
It is unplayable. Alt tabbing feels bad, my PC feels like it's dying.

However, once I switch to DirectX, most of these issues go away. But the sad part is, it's not as good as Vulkan was before these issues.

So pretty much all the progress GGG made towards making the game feel better has gone now because I am force to play under DirectX again, which isn't as good as old Vulkan.

Sad, hopefully next league something gets done.

We need detailed specs, CPU RAM and speed of both. MB, hard discs, GFC card and operating system.

Have you tried to disable your antivirus? Do you run other programs while playing? If you have 8GB ram, you need to close chrome for example as it uses too much ram.

Same here but i find out in task manager that my PoE uses 99% of my GPU (not sure if its normal)

Got exactly same issues too. My PC acting like it would explode, after playing PoE for some time.

Massive fps drops, freezes, and loadin times (cant even close game normally cuz it closes like 1min).

Everything was just fine before latest update (3.14.2).

I5 3570k/GTX970 and 8GB RAM.

Before you say that's not enough, keep in mind that I play POE for many years and know the differences. What I experience in Vulkan is something that went horribly wrong.

I am using DX now and it's not as good as how Vulkan USED to be. But it's manageable, I get 40-60 FPS in motion and 114 idle with Chrome opened and Discord.

As for my Windows I debloated it, I don't even use the antivirus, it's pointless as I know how to use a computer well enough not to get infected. I do periodically run Malwarebytes to scan.

The issue is 100% on GGG's part in regards to Vulkan working horrible atm.

I sort of fix my performance issues.
Using DirectX used to have many frame drops and Vulkan had 3-4 times lower fps than usual.

I tried various driver versions, I have MSI Trio 3080.

I switched to Vulkan one last time, disabled AA as I had it maxed out and I also disabled Dynamic Resolution.

After that I did a clear cache and restarted the game.

After this, my performance was a lot better and gameplay a lot smoother even in fights involving hundreds of monsters like ultimatums, rituals, etc.

Before, using Vulkan would get me 40-50 fps even in hideout and now I have 130-140fps.

I play in 2560x1440. Paired with my 3080 is a Ryzen 3800X and 32GB Ram.

Absolutely the same problem, Vulcan takes a long time to load, there is no increase in personnel, it is not clear how support is implemented.
