Ranger build is broken, it lost half of all elemental resistance

2 days ago when I checked my ranger build It has all the elemental resistance passed 75% and the chaos resistance was at - 41%. Last night I just found out that somehow the fire & lightning resistance was reduced to 45%, cold resistance was reduced to 75% and the chaos resistance was reduced to - 71%. This is VERY WRONG!

I have specifically build my ranger to have all the elemental resistance to be at minimum 75% and above, except for chaos resistance. I have 17 all resis on ''Le Heup of All'' ring, 38 all resis on ''The Taming'' ring, 15 all resis on ''Windshriek'' boot and I have 20 all resis allocated to my passive skill tree. I have 90 all elemental resistance in total on my ranger build, but now it has reduced by half.

I could not figure out what has happened or how to fix it. Could this be a bug? Can someone please help me out?

Did you just beat Act 10 Kitava? You lose -30 of all resistances after beating him.

In total, you lose -60, as you would also have lost -30 at the end of Act 5.

This is not a bug, it is by design.

I do not and will not use TFT.

OMG really !! Bro, I did not know that ... LOL

Why did GGG design it like this ? Now I am doing maps. It is hard for ranger & wizard to stack up all resis points on the skill tree and from the armours ...

Just a little tip after checking out you character : Unique items are usually not the best items in the game.

Unique items are usually only good for the special effects some of them have, but their overall power is lower that what you can achieve with rare items.

You can have a lot of resistance on Rare items (yellows).

Feel free to browse the forums an check out builds or ask for help if you struggle to improve you character!

It is not really hard

T1/T2 res mod is 40% res. Either buy gear from other player or climb to red map and get 80+ base to craft yourself

Thank you for your kind suggestions Bro.

I am new to POE. I played Diablo 3 for a very long time ... Compare with POE, the game mechanics of Diablo is very easy and simple ...

I just finished act 10 recently with my ranger charactor and now doing T1/T2 maps. I felt in the game, my damage is okay but not so good with my life pool. I can easily lose a quarter of the life pool from a single hit by the monsters from T2 maps ... So far, my knowledge of POE is from watching youtube videos & reading articles from POE wiki. I don't know too much about crafting yet and I will keep doing research to have my ranger build better & stronger : )

Thank you for your time & help

Stephen
