Able to Apply Skill Book Rewards Twice

Firstly I am a newish player, and am not 100% on what is occuring.
On my character account SweetTheory I have twice now quickly right clicked a skill book from a quest reward, gone into my passive tree, and the skill book image still remains. I then right click the skill book again and now I have two passive skill points, both of which I can spend. This happened once in Act 8 (One of the Hargan quests) and once in Act 9 (turning in The Ruler of Highgate to Irasha). Obviously I want to play in good faith and not get banned for this issue. I'd like the two extra skill points removed. It's possible some of the quest rewards are supposed to give two books, or I'm turning in two quests at once, or I already had one point and didn't notice... but the way the UI is manifesting I don't think this is the case, I think it is a bug. I'm hoping there would be an easy way for you to check by looking at my character / points spent. Sorry if I'm wrong! " 99.9% sure that you are wrong. Most easy way to check this is by using the command --> /passives If you get 2 skill points from the quest "deal with the bandits" then the maxium number of skill points is 123 for a level 100 char. Remember that there are 2 diffenrant kinds of books but they look the same. The one giving skill points and the one giving respec points. Thanks for your response, I'm definitely second guessing myself now. There may have been a UI glitch but it probably didnt affect my character or passive skill points.
/passives looks good, everything quest reports only giving me one point. |
