Ultimatum trial keeps failing

Hey folks,

when i start Ultimatum trials, i only choose area effects like blades, frost bombs, fire skulls and so on. Without choosing anything elese, the Ultimatum trials frequently fail. There is no indication why and how. I never leave the Ultimatum area, i keep on killing without any pause, i don't know why this happenes.

any idea?

Scenarios of why you failed the trial:

1. You reach 7 stacks of Ruin. The Ruin stack counter can be found alongside your debuff bar.

2. Failed to "protect the Altar" trial. There's the damage indicator bar on the Altar, don't let it get full.

I wonder why the game itself does not provide any of that important info by itself. But i guess this will stay this way as long as Chris is head of this project as the failing of information crosses every aspect of this game.
