Fan the Flames + Explosions

I cannot find any information on weither the small cluster jewel notable 'Fan the Flames' will spread ignites caused by explosions from my Asenath's Gentle Touch considering that I am Elementalist with the 'Shaper of Flames' ascendancy notable.

Any clarity on this would be greatly appreciated.

That's what I am thinking too, but I need to know for sure. Tried to check if I could just see it by testing, but its hard to replicate the environment (density / aoe / mob level&tankyness etc).

well, from the mechanical point of view there is nothing preventing this from working. explosions count as your damage, all your damage can ignite, ignites proliferate.. nothing tricky or special really
