Need a lesson on Modifiers (Prefix/Suffix) on my 6L Rare Bow

Item level is 62

I did ask much research as I could, but still need some help. If you can link a great post explaining this or just write it here, I'd appreciate it. Here goes:

Item has 3 Prefixes and 1 Suffix. According to the item data pages

these are the mods I could possibly roll on this based on the item level of 62 (going in order):

1) (26-34 min, 52-61 max) Fire dmg (Prefix)
2) (12-16 min, 24-28 max) Cold dmg (Prefix)
3) 3-4 Life Leech (Prefix)
4) 34-41 Projectile Damage (Suffix)

I don't understand why the rolled values on the bow aren't in line with the item data pages (except for the Projectile Damage).

I want to learn so I can make a sound judgement about whether to Divine it or not, maybe even Exalt it.. Also, would it better to Exalt an item first, or wait until the mods are higher from the Divine orb?
Exalt or Divine that? Don't.

One thing you forget is that an ilvl62 item can have all of the mods for any ilvl below that. So technically, you have the same chance to hit 1-4 fire damage as you do 20-41 which you did hit.
Life is tough... but it is tougher if you're stupid.
You should look in Weapon-Only Elemental Damage section for your prefixes.

Scorching 42
Local Minimum Added Fire Damage 18 to 24
Local Maximum Added Fire Damage 36 to 42

Frigid 27
Local Minimum Added Cold Damage 10 to 14
Local Maximum Added Cold Damage 21 to 25


Remora's 9
Life Leech From Physical Damage % 1 to 2


So all this values are pretty low and can't be rolled much higher with divine (only inside one grade). So it is 24-42 for fire at maximum, 14-25 for cold at maximum. Leech is already at its maximum.

Though suffix for proj speed is maximum possible, it does not matter. you can roll two more suffixes. You already have one, so 13 possible more left. out of those only 2 useful(well at least for me). They are Local atk speed(8 grades) and local crit chance(12 possible grades). So you lucky chances are about 6% to get both those good suffixes and about 1% to get both of them in perfect grade.

EDIT: as i just noticed it is ilvl 62, so you'll have 1 less variety for grades, but it doe's not change picture in general.

Though he would be best off just Scouring and playing the Transmute -> Alteration game. That bow has only 2 good mods (elemental damages), which hit medium values.

The only thing that makes that bow appealing to craft further is that it is 6L.

My understanding is simply that you can get any affix on an item UP TO the itemlevel. So an ilvl 62 bow can have any modifiers available up to item level 62 bows... it's not limited only to those valid at 62.

e.g. this amulet
combines 11% increased rarity (Magpie's, lvl 20); 8% increased evasion (Acrobat's, lvl 29); +39 max mana (Cerulean, lvl 29); +20% critical strike chance (of Piercing, lvl 30); and so on. The item level must be at least 30: in fact it's item level 66.

So the affixes you've got are decent; not the highest available but certainly not the lowest.

So the Divine orb will not randomize the grade, just the values in that grade? Is there another page that will list all the possible suffixes on an item (like bow for example)? Or just use common sense and assume that something like Cast Speed wont be one of them?

All 4 values are primo for me (Rain of Arrows), so I'd dare not score it. That's why I was keen on Exalting once I learned more about the system.

You can only roll a Prefix or Suffix once per category, is that right? But some categories can bypass that, like Attack Speed, since they have 2 modifiers (Attack Speed +% and Local Attack Speed +%), right also?
Check this spreadsheet. You should find it extremely useful. It answers a lot of your questions.

No, as I aware there no exceptions.

Local Attack Speed +% for weapons.

Attack Speed +% (which is global) can spawn on e.g. gloves.

Does that stop at higher item levels? If not it doesn't seem like a good argument against exalting
