PoE crashing after computer restart

As the title says, PoE crashing on start. When verifying files on Steam, I am missing a file (Am regretting not writing down which one now), and it does start redownloading it. But it takes 2.5h, which is approximately the same time as downloading the entire game.

I'm running Windows 10, and living up to minimum requirements, although I don't use SSD (Don't have one). Have tried running a full re-install. This has happened four days in a row, out of five days it has been installed. Haven't done anything else to the game either than putting in filters, which shouldn't break the game from my knowledge.

Anyone who have had this issue? Especially with the ridiculous big file it's missing when verifying. And anyone who have an idea how to fix this?

Same here, though my specs are pretty good and i have an SSD for poe, game crashes in about 0.7 seconds after start. This started after latest patch and im using standalone version

After checking game with PackCheck and redownloading 25GB launcher is crashing on checking resources. No error messages.

Re-installed today. This time I got the following messages on opening the game (Took screenshot this time):

"File not found: Data/Languages.dat"

followed by:

"Runtime Error!

Program: ...team\steamapps\common\Path of Exile\PathOfExileSteam.exe

This application has requested the Runtime to terminate in an unusual way.
Please contact the application's support team for more information."

On verification of files on steam:

"42171 files failed to validate and will be reacquired"

So it looks like it is very possible that the entire game is failing to validate after restarting the computer. Have tried making a full uninstall now and deleting all files left after the uninstall. Will update tomorrow how the restart goes, since I would like to play a bit before laying down the internet for 2.5 hours to redownload the game.

I was able to log in to the game and play, till I did the last patch. now the game will crash as the first slash screen comes up. The fix SHOULD NOT BE to reinstall windows! I say that due to the last time I had this problem, I did all I could do with no luck, then had success after a fresh install of windows 10 and POE. If this is the things are going to go, I may have to give up on POE. NOT WORTH my time to keep reinstalling things due to a bad patch from the game creators!!! And I have to say POE is the only thing I have ANY problem with on my computer.
