Syndicate Safehouses are Boring

Heyo,

Just a quick & somewhat important thing for most syndicate safehouse rewards.

They feel unrewarding. Plus, all of their content is easier to get through other sources.

Especially now with T4 rewards - you have a few possible rewards for Safehouses:
- Scarabs - scarabs are the biggest thing about syndicate and you often get 1 or 2 Scarabs per safehouse run.
Alternatively, you do 1 delirium tile/blighted chest with scarabs and get a better reward faster. This is massive - scarabs are the final rewards for an entire branch of the syndicate.
- Veiled items - you get a few veiled items (both from the safehouse leader and some reward chests).
Alternatively, you can do 1 Jun mission and get more veiled items.
- Currency - you get a few types of currency from a few different rewards.
Alternatively, you can go the blight/delirium route again. Legion chests, Metamorphs, Rituals, and more are also better in every single way.
- Crafting "Trials" - 20 seconds of spamming currency that you don't own. Pretty fun.
The problem there is that those aren't rewarding at all in the long run; due to the nature of crafting you end up with pretty badly rolled items most of the time.
- Pick one "Trials" - the less fun trials.
The problem here is that the selection is usually filled with junk items/div cards. You pick the obvious winner and you get a 2 chaos item.
- Upgrading breachstones - this used to be godlike.
Right now, you can just do regular maps for currency and buy blessings. No need to manage a syndicate board or farm missions & safehouses.
- Veil Chaos Orbs - cool crafting idea.
Again, farming 1-2 of a given currency after doing 5-10 maps of getting to the safehouse is not rewarding. I've gotten more drops from Blight & occasionally from the actual Syndicate missions on my way to open the Safehouse.


This isn't to say that ALL safehouses are unrewarding - there are still a few good ones and some of the T4 rewards are amazing, but considering the effort in unlocking and farming safehouses - the actual rewards are quite disappointing.

I agree that some rewards could be improved. Especially some members have extremely bad rewards always, even at rank 3.

However, I disagree with :
- Upgrade breachstones : still really good, its 60 to 80c profit to fully upgrade Uul netol or Chayula.
- Pick one trials : rank 3 Riker gave me really good items, like a stack of 50 simulacrum splinters (30c)

I think that shitty rewards like only trash items should be reworked and some stuff like scarabs could be buffed a little bit (1 more scarab per member would be nice)

Also, transportation and fortification have the worst rewards. Only Hillock for quality is OK and Vagan for Legion currency.
I think my Fortification and Transportation divisions exist solely to get me more intel for Research and Intervention.

But, how about those Catarina buffs? I'm unironically floored by how much GGG turned around what I'm very on record as saying "a fight nobody with a brain would do because it loses you money." Getting those T4 rewards is pretty amazing... Research Vorici will give up to 6 white sockets WITHOUT corrupting the item, Tora can give you an entire level's worth of experience on an awakened gem, Winged Scarabs from your Intervention members, and so on.

So while I agree that several syndicate members are still fairly lackluster... I'll happily take that with the fact that the Mastermind is FINALLY worth running, literally for the first time since Betrayal was added to the game.
