Everything worked fine (after the launch fiasco) for a few days. Then after

More info:
PC is not crashing from overheating. Ran CPU and GFX stress tests and had no issues. I play other games with no issues. I followed all the steps in the troubleshooting thread and still have the issue. | |

As many threads as there are about similar issues, it is obvious there is a problem. Has GGG responded to any of them?

I have this aswell, I am so sad. I even switched my PSU cuz alot pointed to that, but no change. I just can't play PoE anymore!

BSOD crashes are system related, not game full stop.
And before you respond with ''it happens only with PoE'' There are documented cases where certain individuals would BSOD their system when opening a firefox browser and manually clicking restore/maximize button, why? nobody knows. No developer could ever reproduce it. No rest for the wicked.

well crashes and game not responding only happening with poe there is some problem with the writing and reading in this patch i couldnt play at all this season i gave up

Did you have overclock in your CPU or Memory (XMP enabled) ? This bugcheck/BSOD is hardware-related, however it also could indicates an overclock causing it: Maybe CPU/Memory with XMP profile. Thanks | |

I had the same problem when I was mid encounter in an ultimatum BSOD WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR.
My CPU is OC'd and had XMP enabled. This is the first game to give me any problems. I have ran many stress tests and everything is stable. Not sure if it's on my end or something with PoE Last edited by Starxsiege on Apr 28, 2021, 11:34:11 AM

This bug check uses the error data that is provided by the Windows Hardware Error Architecture (WHEA). 0x0 - x86 or x64 platform 0xFFFF8588CCAC9028 - location in windows virtual memory where the structure WHEA_ERROR_RECORD is located (if you are not kernel engineer, ignorable) 0xFC800800 - high 32bit address where memory error took place 0x60C0859 - low 32bit address where memory error took place As you have overclocked your system, try to revert to stock speed. If you have some utility for testing and displaying memory information, you might use the above address to determine which module raised the error (full address is 0xFC800800 060C0859 ) If you have multiple crashes, check if the error takes place in the same location, if so, check with default clock speeds (XMP enabled), if still you get errors, replace that memory module. If you get random locations (address numbers differs a lot), it might be fault of CPU. One thing is certain, this BSOD is triggered by Hardware, not the game. As for your testing, the stress test are not able to check all conditions, for example some errors might arise only if certain memory operations or cpu instructions are executed in specific order. If that is the cause, its definetely not the games fault that cpu or memory does not behave according to standarts. Post edit note: This posts only describes BSOD 0x124 WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR.
