Ideas for a build with this item? Even the colours are not great.

" Chiming in to say you can attempt to change colour by benchcrafting them - it will just cost you some Vaal orb. If you wish to do a complete reroll, you can go for the cheapest solution: 4 chromatics and 4 vaal orbs for a reroll (and 1 granted colour). By being a Sacrificial Garb, it is not attuned to any attributes (like Dialla's Malefaction), so there is no higher chance to roll a color than the other. Yup, and you can check out other options at Ninja. While Exsanguinate probably has the most options for different colors, there are other skills that can work with other color combos. It's reasonably flexible.

Any skill that scales well with gem levels and has both "Projectile" and "Duration" tags. For example,
Caustic Arrow Creeping Frost Essence Drain Ethereal Knives Explosive Arrow Soulrend Spark Toxic Rain Winter Orb If you have level 21 gems for these skills, they get bumped up to level 25. Exsanguinate gets bumped to level 23 because it is missing the "Projectile" tag. However it's high damage effectiveness means it could still outperform the skills listed in there if built in certain ways. If you use Chain Support with Exsanguinate, that support gem will get bumped to level 23 too. |
