Any way to reset map instance without losing the map?

I loaded into a terrible map instance that is wrought with lag and died 3 times and disconnected the other times, thus losing the map. I could have completed it easily without the lag/deaths.

I know GGG doesn't really care, so I'm asking for a way to reset a map if I run into it again (It's about 25-50% chance depending time of day this happens).

Control + clicking on a waypoint is a way to open a new instance into a zone. As far as maps go, I believe exiting your current map and opening a new one is the only way. You could also log out and change your server, I
Think your portals would drop though. Not sure.

Also if you’re having internet issues (saying it’s a % chance depending on the time of the day) you should investigate as to whether this is an issue on your end vs. the games end. If it’s the games end, I’m sure GGG does care and can investigate and go from there.

But I would go through all the typical network troubleshooting first before assuming it’s the game. Once you’ve verified that, go from there.

I normally do use the crtl click on normal zones but wasn't sure if something existed similar to that on the map device. I guess I can see why it won't be that way.

I wanted to give an update as you suggested I look at my internet.

I ran WinMTR and noticed the hop to my nearest ISP node was giving me a ping of 13-350ms. lol. I called them and explained. I was told there is an outage and they're working on it. I'm a bit concerned because this has been going on for days. Must be some outage.............................

you can't reset map instance as it just mean farm the map 6 times with one map item
