the Game is not making cache folders anymore
i don't know if it matters or not but since we're all fishing ... <topic title>.
the game used to make some cache folders in "c:\Users\<username>\Documents\My Games\Path of Exile\ , video caches, daily deals cache etc, and since updating to 3.14 it's not creating them anymore. i thought that in some reality it might be server crashes related. " Thanks for your report, the folder is now located in "AppData/Roaming/Path of Exile/". You can also change this folder by going to "Options --> UI".
It might be a bit pedantic, but should this data really roam with your user profile as opposed to being in Local AppData?
Is there any risk of complications if running PoE on multiple computers with the same roaming user profile?

AppData/Roaming is a proper place for storing local application data, a lot better than the game directory.
AppData folder by default is placed in your local user profile, so it's totally safe to use it on multi-user pc. I'm a bit disappointed that Client.log files are not moved to appData as well. Problem: impostor syndrome
Solution: nerf everything Result: depressing mess |
