Essences in Haewark Hamlet Bug or just a visual bug?

This is before applying an Essence Corruption on a set of essences with both Notables for essences taken in Haewark Hamlet.



Now this is AFTER applying corruption to it:



and this is after I run outside of the area and run back again:



Now shows Corruption but NOTHING changes as far as the essences go.

This has happened on multiple occasions in the past 3 weeks. I am just now reporting it because I am getting tired of using up my essence corruptions and not getting any different results the majority of the time, not to mention this annoying visual bug to say the least.

Did you take the Controllable Corruption atlas passive? "Corrupting Imprisoned Monsters in Areas cannot release them" just turns the "release monsters" outcome into a "do nothing" outcome, it doesn't actually remove the "release monsters" outcome from the pool as one may assume.

Seconding this.

Its bugged on the visual side that it should immediately display "Corrupted", but the atlas notable prevented the chance to automatically release corrupted essence monster.

Yes I took both essence notables in the region.
