Gifting MTX/Points/Packs to Friends on Friends List

Hello,
I have a suggestion :D Over the course of the past few leagues, I've actually made friends and often wished I could gift these friends points for the MTX shop or just outright gift an MTX cosmetic directly to them. Or even more crazy, gift supporter packs :O I've also heard a few people say that they wish they could gift MTX. Is this something GGG has thought of or would think of implementing? I can't think of anything really negative about it. It would just open more opportunities for them to make more money and for me and others to give them money, right? To clarify, I mean simply adding an option to the website or MTX shop that says "for a friend" Then you select your friend to gift to. I'd really like to see this feature added. Twould be nice. They won't because this will encourage real money transactions inside the game. "selling X boost for Y MTX".

You can however contact support and arrange a gifting like option. Just so you know, I'm after the breach supporter pack.. just saying ;)
but yeah you can do what you're after it's just a long work around and hopefully catches and prevents RMT inside the game. |

" I dunno, I don't think any RMTer is going to waste their time grinding hundreds of exalts just so they can get a cosmetic that has no value outside of the game. Why would they do that when they can just sell the exalts for real money, which they could then buy MTX if they so choose? Can't say I've ever seen RMT ads saying "will work for skins" on them. :P PoE players: Our game has a wide diversity of builds. Also PoE players: The [league mechanic] doesn't need to be nerfed, you just need to play a [current meta] build! Because anyone and everyone would have the ability to do RMT without going under the ban hammer. Making the game pay 2 win. What you described is in game RMT with extra steps, except currently you can and will get banned for it if caught. Good!
Also an RMT would be able to do that, load up an account with a bucket load of MTX then sell that account on. All of it coming from encouraging pay 2 win aspects of the game. You can however! go play Magic legends if you like your p2w mtx in the game. ;) example for you so you can see how bad the game would become "Selling the feared carry for 15 Mystery boxes" "WTS 6L Starforge for Elder wings". " They were testing this feature years ago on one of the separate realms with the intent to release it on the global realms provided testing went well and it wasn't getting abused for RMT, since it is not here atm it would seem that it was getting abused. " The items aren't tradeable. So it's really a moot point. You'd have to spend your points and select the option. And it would be looked at as a separate form of currency if you think about it. I mean rather than paying 3ex for a 5-way, you could pay an aura effect. But If you're speaking of selling MTX for currency. Sure, but the seller gains 0 benefits from it at that point. No IRL $ is being transferred to the seller, all items he receives for in-game currency are purely cosmetic and non-tradeable/refundable. So it actually entices more MTX purchases for GGG and would/could lower illegal purchase transactions. However, item sales such as mirror tier items, currency for items, or really any item.. well that's p2w. I could see that. Which really defeats the purpose of currency if you got a fat wallet. And there's really no way to circumvent that. But if the trade doesn't support MTX. Then it would be a gentlemen's agreement among conversation, right? Unless someone dedicates a site for MTX for items... lol. It's silly if you think about it. PoE's Equivalent of D2JSP but PURELY cosmetic trade only. lol A lot of the RMT things could be circumvented/stalled with a check.
