FPS drops and textures loading slow
I have huge problems with playing PoE, when i load character it takes about 20s to load into location and even when i enter location textures still takes some time to load up to its resolution. Also i have max 40-50FPS cant get more and when i perform any action in game i have fps drops to 5-10FPS .
My specs Motherboard: GIGABYTE Aorus B450 Elite GPU: Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 CPU: Ryzen 5 2600 RAM: 16GB 3000MHz CL15 SSD M.2 NVMe 1TB (write: 3000MB/s; read: 3500MB/s) (And i dont know reason but my disc speed is slower than in specs https://imgur.com/a/gGXthpr ) DxDiag https://imgur.com/a/YsiQC45 https://imgur.com/a/DumpgMW Last bumped on Apr 30, 2021, 4:33:43 AM

" regarding ingame FPS, then I have seen several people with nVidia GFX that have to "fix / optimize" settings in the nVidia control panal before PoE runs correctly again due to some nVidia driver issue. Also when loading into PoE for the first time, the master server in USA have to be contacted to find out what to download to your client (MTX and stuff). So this depends on your ISP connection and the connection between your local PoE gateway and the master server. But after this first load, then you don't have this problem anymore until next time you have closed the client and logs on the first time. However to be sure, you can try this --> 1. Close the game. 2. Delete ALL files inside the follwing directory's --> C:\Users\"windows account name"\Documents\My Games\Path of Exile\Countdown C:\Users\"windows account name"\Documents\My Games\Path of Exile\DailyDealCache C:\Users\"windows account name"\Documents\My Games\Path of Exile\Minimap C:\Users\"windows account name"\Documents\My Games\Path of Exile\MOTDCache C:\Users\"windows account name"\Documents\My Games\Path of Exile\ShopImages 3. Now run a packcheck --> C:\Program Files (x86)\Grinding Gear Games\Path of Exile\PackCheck.exe Also please post a 300+ packet WinMTR report to the login server your are using and post the result here including the server name. Now try to use the stand-alone client again. |

I can't find PackCheck.exe in steam folder of PoE
There is WinMTR to Frankfurt server (my login server):

Apparently problems with FPS are fixed by doing clean install of windows.

" super cool that you got it fixed, so something must have been "wrong" in your old windows installation. |

I've installed Windows 2 days ago
Nothing changed.. Got all new drivers but performance is still a terrible mess. It was ok before last patch.. Not good but much better. Rituals dropping my FPS from 120 to 30. Demirium is a mess too. Tryed any possible solution : no sound, any graphic option and so on. My Internet connection is not the problem Ryzen 3600 Vega56 16Gb RAM Last edited by Kirby1978#6030 on Mar 15, 2021, 5:14:16 AM

Reinstall Windows? Ive heard that "solution" a lot and I don't recall that ever working for most people. Fact is the performance took a dive in one of Ritual patches; Im pretty sure it was when they introduced "texture streaming".
