Damage Over Time - Lightning

At moment there are 5 types of damage but only 4 of them has equivalents for Damage Over Time (Burning for Fire, Bleed for Physical, Cold has its own version on its spells like Creeping Frost and Cold Snap and Chaos has Poison).
Lightning doesn't has Damage Over time yet, what sounds kinda lame, for all those who wants to use Damage Over Time from Spells as they should Stick with Cold, Fire or Chaos at moment. Suggestions for remake on DoT ailments - Remake Shock to amplify by lower amount damage taken, while also applying DoT - Buff Burning to cause Fear, think Fear as a similar mechanic as Taunt from Decoy Totems and Similar Skills, except that it causes Mobs to flee, and reduces combat ability of players similar of what happens when a Mob does a Warcry - Poisoning doesn't need buff as it bypass Energy Shield - Chill should now cause DoT while still slowing down enemy - Bleeding doesn't need buff as it deals more damage when enemy is moving Suggestions for remake on Disables ailments - Freeze still bound to Cold/Chill - Melt now binds to Fire/Burning as it reduces by a percentage Evasion, Armor and Energy Shield of all those are Melted - Main still bound to Physical/Bleeding - Dazzle now binds to Lightning/Shock as it reduces by a percentage Accuracy, Critical Chance and Critical Multiplier - Paralyse now binds to Chaos/Poison as it interrupt actions like a normal stun but not relying on stun modifiers and rather on a bypassing defenses interruption - Stun is still unbound, so it may apply on any disable together EDIT: Suggestions for Damage Converions - Allow conversion ONLY FROM initial damage, NOT FROM already converted damage, as doing conversion on top of converted damage breaks the Damage Conversion if damage is converted and reconverted back (If on example we have Lightning Damage into Physical together with Physical Damage into Lightning) - Same rules of conversion for Damage Over Time aswell, that will change behavior of Damage Over Time Ailments as they're based on Type of DoT Ailment that is converted - Increase the pool of skills, items and support gems that Convert Damage Thoughts? The last thing this game needs is more damage over time to slide under all of our mitigation. It's obnoxious enough already.

At least for me, it makes sense that Lightning Damage needs some form of Damage Over Time, to make parity with all 5 Damage Types, as all of them would have their own form of Crowd Control AND Damage Over Time

There are enough ways in the game for lightning to deal damage over time and unique to lightning, there is Archmage, a mechanic that does not exist for other damage types (doubling up as a strong defensive mechanic to build around and interacting with EE).
Before 3.13 you could only really use Stormfire as an easy way to apply a DoT with lightning. Now you have the new Elementalist as well. There is no point to be made here.. lightning damage is already a great damage type. The opposite of knowledge is not illiteracy, but the illusion of knowledge.

Forgot to tell, we need to change Damage Conversion Mechanics aswell, to have something similar to what i've detected on Grim Dawn, where conversion of two damage types towards each other doesn't break conversion AND where there are possibility for conversion into multiple damage types aswell.
