Help leveling with Rain of Arrows

Hi!
I really enjoy twinking and trying out new skills while leveling a new character. It's a nice way to learn about different game mechanics and explore the passive talent tree more. This time i'd like to try out Rain of Arrows. Usually i can find some build guide somewhere that explains leveling with this or that skill, but i haven't been able to find anything about RoA. I also don't know a lot about bow builds in general. So: What uniques would be good? Especially when it comes to the bows. Should i get a seperate link for single target and if so, what skill? The most fair advice is to not level with RoA. It's a terrible leveling skill.
Split arrow all the way. RoA+conc effect for single target or barrage, or whatever. Switch to RoA later - when you have the damage, linked mirrage archer, AS and proj speed. It's very dependent on the latter. RoA is not popular nowadays, it's considered shit tier. That's why not many guides. You don't need certain uniques, nor there are any RoA related ones. Any bow can do the work, as long as damage corresponds to level of content. But as already mentioned, don't level with it. What you need to keep in mind is that skill is VERY dependent on proj speed, also AS. Mirrage archer is also a must-have for good clear speed, RoA interacts terribly with incr. AoE. Though, you can emulate overlapping by HoA and HoI and it works with big packs (if ele build). This is a buff © 2016

" Interesting. I wanted to try it because i remember a friend saying it was good for leveling but i guess his info might be outdated or something. Thanks for the input, i'll put this project to rest then. |

Can't think of a single reason why it's good for leveling, but different ppl have different perceptions.
