Imprinting fractured items

It is possible to use beast-crafting to imprint fractured item, but then not possible to actually use the imprint to restore the item.

Unfortunately this opportunity was killed at 3.13.1- "You can no longer use an imprint on a fractured item to revert it to it's unfractured state" :(
