[Steam] CTD at Logo (Resolved?)

Hi there,

so after coming back from grocery shopping and starting up the game again, it suddenly stopped working. Now, while before it worked flawlessly, PoE CTDs as soon as the logo intro pops up.

I've tried several things I found while googling, including verifying the game files, reinstalling it, deleting stuff in the documents folder, changing direct x to 11/9 from auto etc.

I literally have no clue about technical stuff so I desperately seek help here.
If you need the Dxdiag stuff I'll send you the google drive link via PM or email.

Edit: Started the game with --nologo start option and it still crashes after the gears start grinding...

Edit2: I've read something about an windork update 20H2 something. I assumed it would install automatically, but apparently it didn't. I try installing that and start the game. Hopefully it works, but I don't see why it would work. From what I see this doesn't change anything important or whatever ô.o

Edit3: Installing this weird 20h2 windork update and restarting the PC seems to have resolved this problem. I didn't think such a seemingly minor thing could mess up PoE so badly...
