Why are we forced to store some Heist contracts in our inventory?

I realize that there are some contracts that are used to carry the story forward, but forcing us to carry contracts in our inventory (which has limited enough space as it is), rather than letting us store them in the Heist Locker with all of the other Heist contracts is a pain in the butt! Isn't there some other way to handle this rather than forcing us to carry them in inventory?

You can drop them on the ground outside of your hideout or towns, if you wont complete them.
I think it is simply a holdover from Heist league, and I agree it feels unnecessary. |

they're quest items. adequately marked as such, so just don't pick them up to begin with
i know thats what i'll do next league. this one, however, i picked them up because i thought completing them all was the way to get unique contracts to start dropping. nope, thats incorrect. i still have 2 in my mains inventory. nah, im not gonna run em. i hate heist that much i'll sacrifice 2 inventory slots to avoid it. |

quest items shouldn't take inventory space in the first place

" you can drop them again, just throw them on the floor of a map. i have a specific char who does heists and i can collect a bunch on a char, throw them on the floor of a map by a tp and come back in with that other character then pick them up. apparently its fine to transfer them between your characters, pick them up and put them down again, but for some reason i cant put them in the heist locker thing?..... its just rly bad, they need to change it. I love all you people on the forums, we can disagree but still be friends and respect each other :)
