Synthetic Source atlas passive failure

I have Synthetic Source atlas passive which says "Synthesized Unique Items dropped in areas have 3 synthesized implicit modifiers"

It was suggested in my guild that Zana missions are not affected because they aren't opened through the map device.
I think that is a stupid argument because Sirus isn't opened through the map device either, and we have atlas passives that supposedly affect him. The wording of the passive doesn't indicate that it should only work through maps 'we' open through our map device. |

" Sirus's passive name him specifically though, where as synthetic source just names synthesis maps. zana maps have never benefited from anything before so this probably isnt a bug. |
