" This has to be either a bug or something they simply forgot. Why would half of your modifiers you explicitely picked for your main ability be disabled the moment you use the vaal version. Especially for Vaal Cyclone where you put yourself in danger and are desperate for the defensive synergies of the "channeling" tag. Perception is reality.

" Vaal Cyclone's suction effect does in your eyes legitimate losing damage, avoidance, charges and defenses (infusion)? I'd need an impressively convincing argument to justify half of your build falling apart for some suction. All this does is make people drop vaal cyclone even more than they already do. I am actually fine with Vaal Cyclone not being channeling.
Sure, you are doing something that prevents you from doing anything else for a certain amount of time, like a Channeling Skill. However, and here is the main difference from Channeling, you are not in control on how long you are using that skill. I can think on other games that have a sort of "Stone Skin", in which the character gets petrified but have an incredible reduction of damage while petrified. The closest thing we have is the Frament of Winter's Ice Form, where it gets immune to damage and petrified for a brief time. Would you consider being petrified from a skill as "channeling"? It is also not the only Channeling skill whose Vaal version does not qualify as channeling - though indeed Vaal Blight has more of an "instant buff for a duration" feeling. Same goes for Vaal Flameblast, whose major power before and after the revamp was to "unlock" the character from channeling the skill. If, on the other hand, Vaal Cyclone was revamped so that it gets something like "Maximum 100 stages, Cannot move while channeling this skill, Stop using this skill when reaching Maximum stages", I would indeed accept it as a Channeling skill. Can see these kind of things happening if they want to revamp both Vaal skills and Channeling skills for the same league 'sides, I don't get why you say you lose Infusion when using Vaal Cyclone. If you have normal Cycloned long enough to make it start, sure enough your Infusion will Linger on you long enough to cover the whole Vaal Cyclone duration. Only thing you are actually losing is the More Damage from the support. |

" You're assuming I only hit Vaal Cyclone right from cycloning, that's not the case. Please have a look at the channeling cluster jewels. You lose block, charges, regeneration, curse removal, infusion. Perception is reality. Last edited by widardd#5398 on Feb 15, 2021, 4:42:30 PM

" I don't think you honestly believe customer support would understand the game or what could be considered intended game design. Put my feedback into the vaal cyclone topic, luckily it's one of the few skill topics you can still post in. Perception is reality.
