Early/mid endgame crafting advice for juggernaut

This is my current gear: https://www.pathofexile.com/account/view-profile/saddam_sandler/characters
As a new player I'm following this guide: https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2926880/page/1 I just hit 90 and I'm thinking of changing the helmet and the boots for something better. Maybe the amulet and the rings as well, but the former seems pretty good and I haven't found anything better yet. I have some bases saved (Astral Plate, Titan Greaves, Eternal Burgonet, Amethyst Ring, Prismatic Ring) because AFAIK modifying white items is more economic than rerolling rares or uniques. I'm still learning, though. What should I go for? My build focuses on 2h axes, bleeding, endurance charges, earthquake and warcries. Last bumped on Feb 14, 2021, 1:29:11 PM

I would say, at 90, the first thing you want to do is get a 6L. 4L really won't cut it for your main skill any longer.
Easiest and cheapest way to do that is normally to buy a corrupt rare 6L body in trade. Just be careful to look for the exact socket colors, since it will be r really expensive to change those on a corrupted item. EDIT: Here's a search for 6R1G, which your guide calls for.https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Standard/dZgpaRPIJ This has everything with life on it. It'll cost you 30-40c in standard. (Would be less than 10c in challenge leadgue...). If you're on a tight budget, a Tabula is ~15c in standard. I notice you don't have bleed or freeze immunity on your flasks. Do you have them somewhere else in your build. Crafting is such a huge topic, you really need to watch a video or three. Zizaran probably has a fairly recent one in his poe university series, but there are a ton of them out there. Last edited by GreyLensman#5323 on Feb 14, 2021, 8:18:28 AM

I keep all the utility flasks in my stash just in case. So far I only needed the chaos resist one a few times and the cold one in the third Veritania fight.
I guess I'll try to get my hands on a 6 link, but what then? I have all kinds of mats saved: essences, orbs, fossils... My main concern is the order in which I'm applying the mods. I did watch Zizarian's 90 minute video on crafting. I'm still not sure what to do first, though. Should I keep the bases in my stash? I got the quad and the currency tabs, but it would still be nice to free up some space. |

There are also Essence and Fossil tabs if you want to organize those to save them.
Quick thoughts... Essences are best, in my experience, for leveling when you don't have a decent rare item in a certain slot and you know you want a specific type of mod on the item. Fossils are often an alternative to alt crafting. Check out the Craft of Exile site https://www.craftofexile.com/ to get a better sense. High end crafting with Fossils or alts is very rng based, and can take a lot of time and exalts. It's usually faster and cheaper to buy in trade. At least for many items. The crafting bench is easier. Which veiled mods you find is rng, but the bench is not rng once you have the crafts. (also, the basic crafts are no rng or very little (for the Vorici mods in Delve.) Harvest is quite powerful once you know how to use it. It still depends a bit on rng, since you could have only one or several of the mod types you are trying to change. But if you have a good item except for one bad mod, you may be able to replace that mod with a useful one, and then add a bench craft to finish it off. Let me look at your gear a little more closely. EDIT: Honestly, you can upgrade your helmet to something much better for about 1c in standard. The boots and rings might cost 2c. Trying to craft something would cost you a lot more.
