Maven invitation: The feared - no reward/progress - 1 monster remaining?

Hey guys
I want to report following bug I faced unfortunately. For the very first time i faced the challange for "the feared" on my map device together with a friend. Right before we killed the last boss (cortex boss) I died and respawned in HO. My friend finished up (or was on the map - maybe my bleeding was still ticking) and we got some random items, but no rewarding loot (no fragments, influenced, synth items, no uniques, no maven invitations etc...) and even worse: no progress for the Realm. I could not interact with the pillar in the center of the arena to setup points. Minimap says that there would be 1 monster remaining. Which I assume causes that bug. Obviously there is no monster as there would not be any loot... This is super frustrating after doing all the grind and getting everything together -success and dont get anything at all. This is not a bug. If you aren't present for the boss kill, you don't get credit (and no special drops). This is consistent with all bosses in the game.
If you die during the fight, your friend needs to wait for you to return, or another option is you can just lie there dead while he kills it. This is how all bosses in the game work. The 1 monster remaining is the Maven, who does not die. Code warrior

Really sucks when you kill everything and can't get progress for it. Now either have to spend 3 ex for a cortex or pray another one drops.
