Path of Craft…

you always think about how endgame content is working, but whatever you do it's about craft and craft, the most rewarding part.

some ppl may not care about it but I think it's very unfair for those who spend much time on this game but not into craft.

you run hundreds of maps and get several ex while crafting guys sell several gear and earn hundreds of ex.

I don't think it's the original Path of Exile.

edit:
I'm talking about rewards of mapping and crafting, the balance.

I never said anything like "remove it" or "delete it".

plz not take me wrong.

you keep using the word "we" ...

and also, per definition, anything and everything where everyone starts out in the same state, and where the same rules apply to everyone, CAN NOT be unfair to any individual.. per definition..

a different way of looking at this whole thing is last league (heist league). Heist league was, in a way, the perfect opposite of harvest and of crafting in general. Arguably, instead of people crafting gear, people were making 500 exalts in an hour doing blueprints, and then being able to buy anything they wanted instead.

Now, doors aside (pun not intended), this was extremely unpopular. It was a regular s***storm. People preferred less of a lootfest and more of being able to create their gear themselves.

Whether this league is too little of a loot fest is debateable. Also, Heist still exists, and you can still get extremely rich doing it and then going back to buying the gear others created.

But don't expect that you'll ever be able to reliably just DROP perfect, harvest-level gear. This will never happen in PoE. How often have you seen people drop/ID an explody chest? Or a perfectly rolled, influenced stygian belt? or a 500 pdps one handed axe?

If nobody was crafting, nobody would have any of these items. And people do want these items. They're just gated behind SOME effort and interacting with ANY game mechanic, other than sheer time investment and zombie grinding. And that's ok.

EDIT: you can complete every single thing in the game including sirus AL9, uber elder, uber atziri and maven with less-than-perfect gear..

just consider the last two gauntlet events; 1 with and 1 without harvest crafting - even without harvest crafting, multiple people were still able to complete most of the biggest objectives of the final endgame. So it's not like this is gated behind and inacessible without either having enough currency or the willingness/ability to create perfect gear themselves..

in fact, what I want form the game is mapping rather than craft. of cource we need craft, but it should not be the one every player have got to do. The fact is that, because of some mechanisms about craft, we everyone have to contect with craft or you must be out because others do so.
at this point i'm genuinely curiousabout what solution you guys have in mind as to how to solve this perceived issue..

you don't want to craft yourself, but you don't want others to craft either.. so what's the solution? Defeat a boss and drop a harvest-crafting level item? Do a 100 maps and drop a perfect item? Everybody playing with the gear that drops?

You do realize that you're playing a game, which literally has gold removed as a currency? Where the currency literally are the items you use to craft gear? You're essentially complaining about what is arguably the most central, the most core thing about the game in the first place..

but again, i'm curious as to how you would solve/change this..
Especially for ssf crafting is necessary, if you complain about players selling crafted stuff - you have the choice. And now you can even get exalts by playing rituals. That´s an even better choice.

So, it is good how it is, I think.
obey - consume - marry and reproduce - submit - watch t.v. - trust the internet - conform - do not question authority - sleep - buy - do not think - die

sorry about "we" if wrong.

I said some ppl might not care about it, just like you, or even love crafting.

this "we" is those agree with me.

there are 2000 players in the group, more than 3/4 don't like crafting.

if you think this number says nothing then that's it.

I know crafting is a big cake and poe is really a game for elites.

I used to craft a lot but tired of it now.

crafting bench is a good place devs can look into.

every league has a specific focus and harvest is about crafting.

and leagues integrated into core will always be nerfed to nearly death.

harvest is no exception.

i don't understand that why ppl don't get it.
