Conductivity can't be used directly

It's the future me. If anyone have authority to remove this thread, please remove it. I have realized what makes the conductivity can't be casted directly. I just read what Hextouch Support does and realize that's the answer. So, it's definitely not a bug, sorry for wasting your time :))

I don't really know whether this is a bug or not, but I tried to google it but can't find anything relevant.

For some reason after I swap the Conductivity skill from Kitava Thirst Helmet to a normal rare staff, I can't use the skill directly anymore.

On the other hand, I used to place Wave of Conviction on the same Kitava Thirst Helmet too, yet I can still use Wave of Conviction with no problem.

I tried to read the Kitava Thirst description and I don't think there's anything said about making the skill permanently need to be triggered.

Maybe anyone can explain if there's a game mechanic I didn't know yet? Thanks
