Skill effect duration on minions with spell and duration tags on gems

Hello everyone.

Since I am playing a necro build with animated weapon, I (and others too) was wondering if the +-% skill effect duration affects the duration of minions witch have spell and duration in their gem tags ? I ask this because the necro ascendency "Mistress of Sacrifice" doesn't benefit anymore from the +30% Minion Duration but gained +10% Skill Effect Duration.

It shows the duration of your skills including minions when you hover over the skill on your skill bar
