Nassar, Lion of the Seas spawning adds indefinitely after death

After killing Nassar in a Reef Map, the small lobsters he spawns kept coming indefinitely.

I believe this was caused by an interaction with The Maven witnessing the fight;

She made a copy of Nassar that started spawning adds.
I then killed the original before the copy was finished with it's ability, and it despawned.

I suspect that, if the trigger for stopping the spawning needs to be activated by the same entity that started them instead of just being time-based, that would explain why they kept spawning.
