Fanaticism Charges from instruments of Zeal not working from Triggered attacks like Reckoning

Just like the title says I'm attempting to generate charges by using the triggered attacks like Reckoning and Riposte.

Doesn't generate any charges.

Was wondering if the triggered attacks no longer count as "you attacking" or if its a bug.

Reckoning and Riposte are "counter-attacks" not attacks. They cannot proc anything and they are that way to avoid this kind of automation. It's not a bug. Working as intended.

Thanks for the answer didn't know there was a separate classification for counter attacks.
