Is there a way to increase the amount of tribute points from ritual or is it predetermined?

For example does killing monsters faster (or killing more monsters in total) influence the number of tribute points?

I guess doing maps with higher density/more mechanics that can spawn inside the circle does it? (dragging stuff into the circle doesn't do anything)
get more monsters in the ritual circle (spawned). AKA density.
and when you get the ritual vessels they will also increase the density.

so essentially juice up maps. get 4 ritual spawns in a map. get to the final ritual in that map then use a vessel on it.
do that 3 times. 4 times if you've done the 4 way timeless battle
use those 3/4 vessels with a super juiced map in its own right.
profit.

I heard others mention that juicing maps should give more ritual points.
I just did a juiced map 60% delirium, with scarabs, Alva, the works.
Got to 11 layers of reward.
Ritual gave me 2700 points......
So, density does nothing for that.
I found Ambush (strongboxes) and Domination (Shrines) can give nice results as they add nicely grouped mobs that can spawn inside the ritual area. When you kill them (before starting the ritual ofcourse) they will add to the total number of monsters and thus increase the favour counter.

Having more favour does nothing for the quality of te rewards though (at least haven't noticed that), so you may end up with +10k favour and crappy items to use it on.

You have to manipulate rituals to get the best effect.

If you're not familiar with the nuance of rituals, Grimro has a good video on it.

In a nutshell:

A ritual spawns the mobs that died in the circle.

A ritual spawns the mobs of each previous ritual completed.

Ideally, you want to complete rituals in a specific order to yield the best results.

As mentioned above, Grimro covers this in greater detail on YT.

Thats very useful, thanks a lot!
Im still not sure though, how to get better rewards offered in ritual. How is that determined?
Like he says in the video, theres really not much use of using vessels in normal maps, course you will have enough points to buy what is offered. Or refer it.
i dont know if it's just me, but i have notced that DoT's give more points.

just try it out.
As others have posted the most important thing is monster density inside the ritual areas.

There are two real main influencers here. 1 Is map density obviously but the second is the area covered by your ritual. Map layout is very, very important.

If you run a fully juiced map in a map with lots of small hallways you still won't get great results. The same is true for wide open white maps. For maximum results you really want to run juiced maps in open layout maps. This is the base iI think.

After that focus on adding more monsters to your map with different mechanics. If you want to you can usual ritual vessels to add even more.
