Battlemage Question for Theorycrafters

Hi GGG,

Battlemage looks like fun but I'm theorycrafting a build and want to know if it works exactly like spellsplinger or if it will work with the shaper/hunter mods add X dmg per 10 str/dex/int.

I'm interested in scaling an intelligence/strength based character with new changes to Inquisitor as I just found out last league that you can awakener orb X dmg per 10 strength and X dmg per 10 intelligence on same item.

Thanks!

I highly doubt it will also include "x - x to attacks with this weapon" mods, because those would be too busted to allow them into the pool.

Might be wrong, but dont think so on this one.

Best armor in the game if you can meet the stats.

I'll try high weapon damage CoC. 100% crit with a exploding 5.0 CC mace.

They definitely made the attack/cast mechanic way more fluid for weaving.

Now you can pretty much ignore the attack as long as you use leap/SC every 4 seconds.

And then stupid cast speed/aoe free casting. I can see a few great speed builds out of this. Pretty patch notes I want to play inquisiter the most.
I am just trying to find out if Brimstone Barb just became a legit battle mage weapon.

if so I might screw around with a CI inquisitor build using it.

also bring out the
Based on what we've seen in Spellslinger, Battlemage is not going to work with stat stacking. It also does not care about your weapon APS. It's the average hit that matters.
Battlemage doesn't work with x per x stats. From the wording it works identically to Spellslinger so it's only the base damage written on the item.

It will probably be great once you have monster items but pretty disappointing if you don't.
