"Main hand critical strike chance" same for all weapons of the same class?

No matter which sword I use and whether it has "X% increased critical strike chance" on it or not, on the character stats page, the percentage number for "main hand critical strike chance" doesn't change.

It only changes when I use a weapon of a different class, like an axe instead of a sword. Is this how it is supposed to be? Why doesn't it reflect the (NON-gloal!) increased critical strike chance mod on a weapon?

Ezomyte Blade A has "CRITICAL STRIKE CHANCE: 6.72%", Ezomyte Blade B has "CRITICAL STRIKE CHANCE: 7.69%". No change on character stats offence page when I switch between them. Why?

unhide your characters and we might be able to tell you why.
slayer? overwhelm ascendancy?

edit: nvmd, wouldnt change from sword to axes then

edit2: oh wait, it would if other passives come into play... :D

probably slayer ascendancy setting crit to 8%(which means crit chance roll on weapon is useless) and weapon specific jewels/passives.
Ah I see, yes Slayer ascendancy, so it's this Overwhelm thing. Thanks so much guys/girls, would have NEVER thought to check that and thought I was going crazy!

Also I'm new, first post, didn't know you can make your characters visible here, that's pretty useful!
