How to end map?

Do I just teleport out and ignore active portals or is there any way to "complete" map?

As far as I know once the boss is killed the map is complete. Always go in a magic or rare map to get the bonus objective, and to increase chance of getting new maps later on.

" After you have killed the map boss and there are no more mobs in the map, it's complete. You can then open the next map in your map device and any remaining portals will be removed and you get 6 new ones. |

" Killing the boss is good enough to complete the map for the atlas bonus - as long as the map meets the requirements shown on the atlas. Like being magic or rare or rare plus corrupted. Full clear is pretty much never a good idea and not required anyways. I usually leave maps when less than 30 mobs are alive and the boss is dead. Not worth the time hunting down the last remaining mobs. Its better to run another one and gain more XP and item drops that way. |
